The short version
This notice covers what whizzbangpop.co.uk itself collects from visitors reading its coverage of Fatpirate, a brand offering both a casino and a sportsbook. It has nothing to do with the data Fatpirate collects once someone registers an account on the operator's own platform – that relationship, and its terms, belong entirely to the operator. We're an independent information portal, not the operator, and we hold no player accounts or player data of any kind.
In short: we collect a modest amount of technical and contact information to run this site properly, we never sell it, and you have real rights over what we hold.
Data you hand over vs data we observe
Two categories cover almost everything. First, information you actively give us – mainly your name and email address if you use our contact form. Second, information observed automatically as you browse: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and how long you stayed, gathered through standard analytics and cookie technology.

We never ask visitors for financial details, identity documents or gambling-account credentials – if a form asks for those, it belongs to the operator's own site, not ours.
Processors and transfers
We rely on third-party processors for hosting, analytics and, occasionally, advertising measurement. These providers act under contract and only process data for the purposes we instruct – never for their own marketing lists. Where a processor is based outside the UK, transfers are made under recognised safeguards. We do not sell personal data to any third party, and we do not share it with Fatpirate or any other operator we write about.
Exercising your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you can ask us to confirm what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a portable copy, or object to processing altogether. You can also withdraw consent for anything based on consent, such as optional analytics cookies, at any time.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Retention
Contact-form correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer your query and for a short period afterwards for our own records, then deleted. Technical and usage data collected via analytics is retained on a rolling basis and aged out automatically rather than kept indefinitely.
Under-18s
This site, and the subject matter it covers, is intended for adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18+. Betting and casino content is not appropriate for minors, and a household device shared with a younger person is worth securing with parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio.
Changes to this notice
We may update this policy as our tools or obligations change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date, so it's worth checking back occasionally rather than relying on a saved copy.
