Is there a travel fee?
For some areas we charge a small travel to pay the entertainers for additional time and costs. This is not applicable to all locations such as London, Birmingham, Brighton & Hove.
Who is responsible for the children?
The parents. We always request a minimum of 2 adults be present at all times through out the entertainment. We accept no responsibility for the sole care of children. It is not the entertainers responsibility to control the children or be responsible for the behaviour management of the children. If any children are behaving in an unacceptable manner it is the responsibility of the parent/carer to deal with.
What are parachute games?
The children hold handles on the outside of a brightly coloured piece of material and play non-competitive games.
What games do you play?
We play traditional music based games such as Pass-The-Parcel, Musical Statues and Musical Bumps. We also play non-music based games such as What’s the Time Mr Wolf, Grandma’s Footsteps and Duck, Duck Goose. We have adapted these games to try and ensure we do not exclude any children and keep them as inclusive as possible.
What happens if I have a bouncy castle or soft play?
It is the parents’ responsibility to take charge of the children whilst in these areas and to take the children away from these areas if they want the children to participate in the entertainment provided by Whizz Bang Pop. We usually request the entertainer is stationed away from bouncy castles as they can be noisy and prefer if all toys are put away from the entertainer’s space.
How many children can attend the party?
We recommend booking one entertainer for up to a maximum of 25 children. If there are more children than this number we must be notified prior to the event and additional entertainers booked. If the entertainer arrives and there are more or less children than anticipated then s/he may change the activities to fit in with the requirements and time slot. We can send 1 performer for large events but it will limit the activities you can have.
What age group are the activities aimed at?
Our parties are aimed at children aged from 3 – 10 years. Younger children under 3 years are welcome but must be supervised at all times and older children are welcome to join in where suitable. We also have a Toddle Time party package for under 3 years old.
